Information we collect
We may receive information you choose to provide when you email us or request a consultation, including your name, email address, telephone number, student or family role, educational interests, and the contents of your message.
Our website hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser or device type, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs. Calculator entries are processed in your browser and are not intentionally submitted to Campus Compass through the calculators.
How we use information
We use information to respond to questions, arrange consultations, provide requested services, maintain and secure the website, understand and improve our services, keep appropriate business records, and comply with legal obligations.
Consultation requests and email
Requesting a consultation opens an email addressed to info@campuscompass.net. We review the message manually and may reply with questions or a link to schedule an introductory conversation. Please do not email Social Security numbers, passport copies, financial-account details, medical records, or other highly sensitive information unless we have provided a secure method and specifically requested it.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the website, email, scheduling, communications, or educational services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization.
External services and links
The website may link to third-party services, including the Campus Compass course hosted by Thinkific. Some pages may also load web fonts or other resources supplied by third parties. When you follow an external link or use an external service, that provider's privacy policy applies.

Campus Compass does not currently use personal information for targeted advertising or sell personal information. Essential hosting, security, or third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to provide their features. If our use of analytics, cookies, or advertising changes, we will update this policy and provide any required choices.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including providing services, maintaining records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no email or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may contact us to ask what personal information we maintain about you or to request access, correction, or deletion. Children and students
This website is intended for students planning for college and their families, but it is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate. Minors should use the website and contact Campus Compass with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
